EaStEr TiMe, SpRiNg TiMe!

This Easter season my heart is full of so much gratitude for my loving Savior. We missed out on going to the Easter Pageant this year, which makes me very sad but there is always next year. As I sat in sacrament meeting today I have never felt the spirit so much as I listened to the wonderful talks given of the Saviors life. I got the chance to hear from our young home teacher and our new YW leader and her husband. Certain things hit me in a different way today. My heart has been extremely full all day. Sure it was fun to see what the "Easter Bunny" left me this morning and to hunt for eggs with my brother and sister but the best thing of all was feeling my Saviors love for me. These past couple months have been some rough ones, but they have only gotten easier as I've turned to my Savior. I've experienced the Atonement in a different way and I have come to know of his great love for me. He die for us and he felt our every pain. He calms the storms that we face daily if we ask in faith. He is there to comfort with times get tough. When the world runs out on us he will ALWAYS be there. Never have I felt his hand so much in my life these past couple months. I love my Savior and I'm thankful for the price he paid for me and for this Easter season where I can be reminded of the Atonement.

I love Easter so much! It's a time for me to be with family and to learn and grow with them as we express our love to each other about our Savior. This year we had a family BBQ, egg coloring contest and egg hunt at my grandparents. Unfortunately we were only able to have 3 out of our 7 families join us but the others were there with us in spirit. My favorite part about that night was dancing in the rain with most of my cousins and laughing till we had nothing left. Then on Sunday we met my dad's family out at Phoenician for Easter brunch. Oh how I love spending time with my older cousins!

This Easter was truly the best!!

It'S LiFe!

This is one of the several songs I've written. This is just a rough draft of it so who knows... it could change.

Life's an uphill battle
Never knowing what your day is gonna bring
You go strong,
You move on,
And hold on to all you've got.

Sometimes you'll hurt,
Sometimes you'll cry,
But just push through the pain
And let your future shine bright
Cause you can shine brighter than you think.

Sometimes you'll laugh,
Sometimes you'll smile,
Just show the world what you've got.

Life's an uphill battle
Never knowing what your day is gonna bring
You go strong,
You move on,
And hold on to all you've got.

Moments come,
And moments go,
But memories are a lifetime thing.

You've only got one chance,
So live your life as best as you can.

BaSeBaLl!

A double baseball season has officially begun at my house. For years we've always been doing two baseball seasons and supporting two teams. My dad is well into his baseball season at Shepherd Jr. High being 8-0. We are hoping to be city champs for the 5th year in a row. My dad sure knows how to run a strong team. We are so proud of him for is excellent coaching. He is so dedicated to coaching and to his boys! April 15th with Shepherd plays Highland, I may be a hawk but I'm a stallion at heart! :) Joey is just starting his season for Gilbert American Little League and is on the Cubs team. (Our family's favorite team) He just recently has his opening day on Saturday and played a great first game even with having a broken finger. As I was helping  him load up his huge bag since he couldn't use a hand someone came up to me and said, "Man you know how to back a baseball bag good! Joey you have an amazing sister." and he replied saying, "Yes I certainly do. She always supports me no matter what." He is right I support him 100%. But that's what watching baseball and being apart of it for not almost 16 years does for ya. I felt so good after the guy walked away. Joey's been playing baseball since he was 4 and to hear something like that felt so good. I have an amazing brother! I enjoy watching Joey play baseball more than anyone. It makes me so happy to watch him play a game that he loves SO much! He is an amazing player and just like our dad is 100% dedicated. He is playing catcher and shortstop this year with some occasional pitching. I've really enjoyed watching him year after year get better and become the player he is today. He is a leader on the field and in the dugout! I'm so excited to get back into the swing of things with baseball. I miss it sometimes! :) Leah, my Mom and I are always the cheerleaders!

FrIeNdS, WhAt WoUlD I Do WiThOuT ThEm???

I truly believe that people are put into our life for a reason! Everything happens for a reason, yup I can testify that it's true. It's not an accident, they are there to change our lives. Here are a few people who have changed me life and made me who I am! (No Names)

* A thousand miles away and a state away, we haven't seen each other for two years yet you're my best friend. That summer I met you changed my life. You haven't left me and  you have always been there for me. You know how to make me feel good and you know how to cheer me up! You remind me that everything is gonna be alright! We pinky promised.... Best Friends Forever!

* "God knew our mothers couldn't handle us as sisters, thats why he made us cousins." We've been through it all! From happiness to trials we've always got each others backs! Music and quotes are our things. This summer will be a summer to remember! I'll honk my horn and tell you I'm home then we'll run away and start a new adventure. And when we return.... it's back to reality!

* You... Are... So... Beautiful...To...Meee! :) When I was struggling and at my lowest you were there 24/7 no matter what. You believed in me when no one else did and you still do! You helped me change my life and change the person I am today. No one knows me like you do. You give me strength and you're smile brightens my day and changes my life. You've given me so many tools and shown me so many things to make me happy. YOU are my hero! You saved me! Things wont be the same without you next year! I love you so very much! :)

* Two min away, streets away but rivalry schools away. What more could we go through together! No one relates to me more than you do! From friends, to best friends, to distant cousins so close to being sisters. You are the strength, the hope and the height I lack in life. My life wouldn't be the same without you.

* You were the best scripture buddy anyone could have. Not only are you my friend but you're like my older brother. You've helped me so much through the tough times I've had. You never turn me away and you haven't given up on me. You were an answer to my prayers. You're always right and you always know exactly what to say. When this year ends things won't be the same and I will miss you.

* Schools apart and streets apart. My life would not be the same without you. We've gotten so close this year and it makes me so happy! I love you like crazy and you've changed my life. No matter what happens I'll always be there for you! Even if we're miles apart, it doesn't matter! You're a strong girl and amaze me all the time. I miss seeing your bubbly personality every day! :)

* My girls....... I've grown so close to you! You've made this year so much fun! Our random laughs at lunch, random voices and jokes. You make my days so special! I don't know what I would do without you girls! I would do anything for you girls! I love you! :)

"Determinations is the souls willingness to fight against all the odds and succeed."

My SaViOr!

My Savior

His hands,
His feet,
The nail prints,
He suffered

He suffered for me,
Thats I might live again,
He suffered for me
That I might make mistakes,
And He suffered for me,
That I might go to know him.

He is my older brother,
My dad,
My friend,
My comforter,
And....
My Savior.

My WiSh!

This is my wish for you: comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that when you doubt, patience to accept the truth, courage to know yourself, and love to complete your life.
