A double baseball season has officially begun at my house. For years we've always been doing two baseball seasons and supporting two teams. My dad is well into his baseball season at Shepherd Jr. High being 8-0. We are hoping to be city champs for the 5th year in a row. My dad sure knows how to run a strong team. We are so proud of him for is excellent coaching. He is so dedicated to coaching and to his boys! April 15th with Shepherd plays Highland, I may be a hawk but I'm a stallion at heart! :) Joey is just starting his season for Gilbert American Little League and is on the Cubs team. (Our family's favorite team) He just recently has his opening day on Saturday and played a great first game even with having a broken finger. As I was helping him load up his huge bag since he couldn't use a hand someone came up to me and said, "Man you know how to back a baseball bag good! Joey you have an amazing sister." and he replied saying, "Yes I certainly do. She always supports me no matter what." He is right I support him 100%. But that's what watching baseball and being apart of it for not almost 16 years does for ya. I felt so good after the guy walked away. Joey's been playing baseball since he was 4 and to hear something like that felt so good. I have an amazing brother! I enjoy watching Joey play baseball more than anyone. It makes me so happy to watch him play a game that he loves SO much! He is an amazing player and just like our dad is 100% dedicated. He is playing catcher and shortstop this year with some occasional pitching. I've really enjoyed watching him year after year get better and become the player he is today. He is a leader on the field and in the dugout! I'm so excited to get back into the swing of things with baseball. I miss it sometimes! :) Leah, my Mom and I are always the cheerleaders!
